In November 2006, Transparency International ranked our country the 16th most corrupt in the world. Under the watch of the past Sierra Leone People's Party ( SLPP )  administration, and their  unprincipled spin doctor, Sylvia Blyden, Sierra Leone was also ranked the worst country in the world to live in ,  based on the United Nations Human Development Index. According to a CIA data, the life expectancy rate of a Sierra Leonean is 43 years. In addition, a UNICEF study found that since 2002 more children under the age of five years old die in Sierra Leone than anywhere else in the world. READ

resident Ernest Bai Koroma is so serious about bringing back electricity to Sierra Leone that he has set up an Emergency Task Force , whose responsibility is to do all that is possible to ensure that the country becomes illuminated again .                                                                                    The head of that team is Dr. Lancelot Ayo Lake, a young Sierra Leonean who has joined the many citizens who want to abandon very lucrative jobs abroad to return home to help rebuild the country.
